Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organized a One Day Seminar on “Digital India” on 2nd September, 2016 for all the students pursuing Masters in Management Studies (MMS). The key speakers in the seminar were Mr. Soumendra Sinha, Managing Director, Weilburger Paints (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Vedprakash Srivastava from Accelya.

The seminar began with an interactive session which was organized by the students of placement committee of PiMSR. This session comprised of quiz and debate competitions with a theme of ‘Digital India’ followed by a talk by the key speakers.
Mr. Sinha spoke about the growth of digitalization in India and also the role of an entrepreneur in the development of India. The presentation was supported with some very interesting videos which motivated the students.
Mr. Vedprakash Srivastava spoke on digital marketing and its importance. The seminar was well received and appreciated by all the students.
