Date: 10th September 2025
Venue: Auditorium
Time: 3:30 p.m – 5:00 p.m.
Participants : 230

The Session began with an introduction to Heartfulness Meditation, initiated through the thought-provoking question: “Why Meditation?” Rather than delivering a traditional lecture, the instructor encouraged active participation by inviting students to share their views and perspectives. This interactive approach created an engaging atmosphere and allowed participants to relate to the concept of meditation on a personal level.

Meditation was presented not merely as a routine but as an essential practice that offers a pause from the demands of daily life. It was described as a journey inward—a time for stillness, reflection, and connection between mind and soul, free from external distractions.

To reinforce this understanding, videos were shown featuring renowned Indian athletes Rohit Sharma and P. V. Sindhu. Both spoke about how meditation has helped them maintain focus, balance, and mental strength, illustrating that meditation supports not only spiritual growth but also professional performance and discipline.

The session also showcased visuals of the world’s largest meditation center located in Hyderabad, highlighting the global acceptance and influence of meditation across cultures and professions. Participants were then introduced to the Heartfulness Meditation Campaign, an international initiative dedicated to teaching meditation free of charge while positively impacting millions of lives worldwide.

The highlight of the program was a 40-minute guided Heartfulness meditation practice. Although the extended silence initially felt unfamiliar to many, it gradually created a deeply calming and refreshing experience. The exercise served as a practical introduction to the essence of meditation, fostering self-awareness and inner clarity.
