The discussion began with the question “Why Presentation Skills?” Through an interactive dialogue, the class concluded that presentation skills are among the most vital aspects of corporate communication. Mastering these skills enhances the ability to express ideas, share knowledge, and present a vision with confidence and clarity.

The lecturer introduced the concept of two types of individuals in professional settings: “victims,” who tend to simply follow instructions, and “villains,” who consistently take the lead. The importance of creating both a strong first impression and a memorable last impression was highlighted.

The benefits of effective presentation skills were also emphasized. Key takeaways included increased confidence, improved communication, enhanced creativity, better time management, and the development of leadership qualities.

Further, the lecturer outlined the key components of a successful presentation, such as understanding the audience, maintaining a clear structure, creating engaging content, using conversation starters, delivering confidently, and adopting an appropriate tone of voice. Techniques for beginning a presentation effectively were also shared.

To conclude the session, a lively activity was conducted in which students collaboratively created a story. Each participant added a sentence to build the narrative, resulting in a fun and imaginative experience that encouraged creativity and quick thinking.

Overall, the session was interactive and insightful, providing students with practical knowledge and enjoyable activities to strengthen their presentation skills.
