Faculty and students attended the Orientation Session organised by WRO Zonal Coordinator, Institution’s Innovation Council Implementation Team, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE on 14th August, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The objective of the session was to give guidance on the eligibility, application process of various schemes of the government. The session covered the following initiatives for the academic year 2025:

  • Impact Lecture Scheme 2025
  • Mentor-Mentee Scheme 2025
  • STATATHON 2025 – A Data Journey for Viksit Bharat

The session began with an overview of the Impact Lecture Scheme 2025, highlighting its role in providing expert-led sessions to enhance knowledge, innovation, and industry readiness. This was followed by insights into the Mentor-Mentee Scheme 2025, designed to foster academic guidance, personal growth, and skill development through structured interaction between faculty mentors and student mentees. The session also presented STATATHON 2025 – A Data Journey for Viksit Bharat, a unique competition aimed at engaging students in data-driven problem-solving to contribute innovative solutions for national development.

The session was attended by 2 IIC coordinators and 25 students. The benefit of the orientation was that it motivated participants to actively engage in these initiatives, emphasizing their value in academic enrichment, professional preparation, and nation-building.
