On the occasion of Marathi Bhasha Divas on 27th February, 2023, The students for the Social Service Committee distributed Marathi story books and stationery to the students of Gyanjyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, New Panvel. The students from the Social Service Committee interacted with the 40 children of the school and explained the importance of reading and developing an observant mindset. The Principal thanked the students and faculty members for their donation of books which will be kept in the school library. The event was co-ordinated by Dr. Celina Joy and Dr. Anjali Bhute and attended by 6 social service student members. The students of PiMSR promised to do many more activities with the school children in the near future. This event was conducted in association with Soroptimist International Bombay Chembur.
