In celebration of International Women’s Day, Women’s Development Cell of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR), in collaboration with NSE Academy organized an Expert Talk on Investor Awareness and Financial Literacy on 3rd March, 2025. The session was attended by female students of PIMSR along with faculty members, with the aim of educating women on financial investments and wealth management.
The guest speaker for the session was Ms. Neetu Marwah, a highly experienced Trainer, Subject Matter Expert, Content Developer, and Visiting Faculty with expertise in Finance, Sales, and Soft Skills.
During the interactive session, Ms. Marwah provided valuable insights into various investment options, including mutual funds, fixed deposits, Gold ETFs, and more. She addressed common misconceptions about investing and offered expert guidance on how and where to invest wisely. She also highlighted investment choices suitable for different life stages, emphasizing the importance of thorough research before making financial decisions.
The session successfully broadened students’ understanding of finance and banking, equipping them with essential knowledge for their financial journeys.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Akshata from F.Y. MMS. As a token of appreciation for her insightful session, Ms. Neetu Marwah was felicitated by Prof. Santoshi Periyasamy, Assistant Professor at PIMSR.
