The Research and Consultancy Committee of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organised an International Conference on the theme “Management Wisdom for the 21st Century” on 4th December, 2012 at Conclave, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai’s Campus. Twenty research papers were presented over two track sessions.

The sessions were moderated by Dr. Padma Rangan, Principal, Mahatma Night Degree College of Commerce and Dr. T. A. James, Director, Dr. Pillai Global Academy, Gorai. Two prominent speakers from industry, Mr. Rituraj Sar, Head Learning and Development, Lupin Limited and Ms. Nidhi Sahnii, Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, L & T General Insurance Limited were on the panel of speakers for the inaugural session. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. G. Vijayaragavan, Director of the Institute. Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, Secretary and CEO, Pillai Group of Institutions also addressed the gathering. The conference was attended by the paper presenters, faculty members of PiMSR and the management students.
