Idea Generation Workshop – First Step for Budding Entrepreneurs

The students of PiMSR attended the “Idea Generation Workshop – First Step towards Entrepreneurship” conducted by Dr. Priam Pillai on 31st August, 2015 at Conclave for members of the Entrepreneurs Club. About 50 students attended this workshop. Dr. Pillai emphasised on the concept of entrepreneurs being problem solvers and urged the students to collaborate and work in teams with students from different streams to be able to find solutions to problems that were faced by society at large. Students were formed into groups and were asked to list our three issues that they could see around their residential areas. After the students completed this task an interactive session was held to find solutions to these issues. It was an informative session and appreciated by the students. Many students planned to join the Business Plan Competition that was launched that year. The session was coordinated by Dr. Celina Joy.
