The session, led by Prof. Anil Sir and Prof. Vinod Sir, focused on key management skills, the DNA Program framework, and strategic tools essential for professional success. Core competencies such as decision-making, presentation, and discipline were identified as crucial for effective leadership and addressing complex challenges. The DNA Program’s three stages—Discover, Nurture, and Accomplish—offered a systematic approach to recognizing areas for improvement, honing skills, and establishing credibility through practical application. Emphasis was placed on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, fostering innovation, strengthening teamwork and communication, and enhancing problem-solving abilities.

Practical learning was a central theme, exemplified by the RedBus case study, which highlighted the importance of market research and proactive solutions. Students worked in teams to develop startup concepts, applying tools like SWOT analysis and benefiting from expert feedback during interactive discussions. This workshop provided a well-rounded guide for achieving excellence in management, combining structured frameworks with hands-on experience to prepare participants for future leadership roles. Event also involved case Study on RedBus Journey illustrating how to identify market gaps and implementing innovative solutions can lead to success. By addressing these gaps, the founder not only created a sustainable solution but also prevented potential future issues. This case emphasizes the importance of market research and proactive problem-solving. After discussion, the speaker asked students to form a group of 8 to 9 individuals to conceptualize and incubate a groundbreaking startup idea As we embarked on this endeavor, we commenced an exhaustive examination of the market landscape, scrutinizing existing gaps and loopholes that presented opportunities for innovation.

Through this rigorous process, each team converged upon a distinctive business idea, leveraging their collective expertise and creativity to craft novel solutions. Subsequently, we engaged in a series of stimulating discussions with the esteemed speakers, who provided invaluable insights and feedback on our proposals. By focusing on entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, individuals can effectively navigate complex challenges and contribute to organizational success. The Future Ready Skills Lab session, organized by the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) on 22nd November, 2024, aimed to prepare MMS students for corporate challenges by fostering essential skills, confidence, and adaptability. Conducted by Prof. Anil Jadwani and Prof. Vinod Madhavan, the session covered critical areas such as communication, leadership, decision-making, and AI-related competencies. Through interactive activities, case studies, and motivational exercises, students were encouraged to develop a problem-solving mindset, embrace teamwork, and step out of their comfort zones. A three-day program was introduced, featuring simulation exercises, field visits, and final presentations to enhance practical learning and analytical abilities.

Key takeaways emphasized the “DNA” framework—Discover, Nurture, and Accomplish—as a guide to identifying and solving real-world problems.
