The IIC of Pillai Institue of Management Studies & Research organised an exhibition for budding student entreprenuers on 18th January, 2024 in collaboration with the Pillai Group of Insttiuions at the Panvel Campus at the Quad area of Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus. The objective of this event was to feature small businesses and also give a platform to display beautiful art work by students. Fresh Biz is an Exhibition where the Students, faculty and alumni of the college get an opportunity to exhibit their innovative startups and creative artworks to the crowd and take part in the auction. About 200 students and 11 faculty and 42 external faculty participated in this exhibition. This initiative created a platform for budding student and faculty entrepreneurs to promote their products and showcase their brilliant ideas. The student entrepreneurs were greatly benefitted from this initiative as they could showcase their innovative products and earn money. The stalls were provided free of cost to encouragae budding entrepreneurs to participate and showcase their products in a large number. The exhibition featured small businesses like jewelry, apparels, bakeries, food stalls among others whereas the art exhibition displays beautiful paintings, sketches & artworks by the students and faculty. An auction of the beautiful artwork made by the students and products of the students’ startups was also organized towards the end of the day. The event provided a lot of motivation to the students and encouraged them to scale up their businesses for the future.
