As part of the FDP initiative, a comprehensive session on “Digital Tools and Tech Integration for Educators” was conducted on 18th July 2025. The FDP focused on empowering faculty with emerging digital tools to enhance teaching, content creation, and assessment in today’s academic ecosystem.
The session was led by Ms. Shivani Dangi, a seasoned data professional with over 10 years of experience in data analysis, AI tools, and BI dashboards. She holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and Big Data Analytics and is proficient in Python, statistics, and visualization techniques.
The FDP featured a hands-on introduction to AI-powered tools including Power BI and Tableau offering practical exposure to data visualization and dashboard creation, enabling faculty to integrate data-driven insights into management. Faculty members received interactive demonstrations, actively participated in tool-based exercises, and explored real-time applications of the tools in their disciplines.
The session reinforced the importance of technology-enhanced learning and encouraged faculty to embrace AI, automation, and visualization in teaching and research. Participants appreciated the practical relevance and takeaways of the session, making it a highly enriching and transformative experience.
