The SIP (Summer Internship Project) Research Workshop for faculty members was successfully conducted on the 7th May 2025, at PIMSR under the guidance of the Research and Development Committee. The primary objective of the workshop was to bring uniformity and academic rigor to the SIP report preparation process, ensuring all faculty and students follow a consistent structure in research reporting.

The session was inaugurated by Dr. Betty Sibil, who emphasized the critical importance of maintaining uniformity across SIP reports. She highlighted that consistency in format and content would significantly contribute to enhancing the academic value and credibility of research outputs. Dr. Sibil underscored that alignment in research practices helps foster a robust academic culture and shared understanding among faculty and students.

Following her introduction, Dr. Shikha Singh was invited to lead the workshop. Dr. Singh presented an in-depth explanation of the entire SIP report structure. The workshop was conducted in a participative mode. Dr. Singh first provided conceptual clarity on each component of the report, followed by an open discussion where participants could raise queries and share their perspectives. The Q&A session that followed was lively and engaging, allowing faculty members to clarify doubts and explore best practices.

The session was highly appreciated by all attendees. Faculty members found the discussions extremely useful and felt more confident about guiding students through the SIP process with a standardized approach. The workshop was successful in its goal of promoting academic uniformity and research excellence at PIMSR.
