Through Project “PANKH”, the Social Service Committee team of PIMSR conducted a session on basic Hindi reading and English vocabulary for the students of Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, on 16th December, 2025.

Recognizing the importance of language skills in academic development, the session aimed to strengthen students’ reading abilities and vocabulary in a supportive and interactive environment. The session began with student introductions, followed by Hindi reading practice from their textbook. The text was read aloud and explained in simple language to help 7th standard students understand the content better and improve their reading fluency and comprehension.

Further, students were introduced to English opposite words through examples and oral interaction, which helped them expand their vocabulary and understand word meanings more clearly.

To make the session engaging, students participated in an activity where they were asked to complete words by filling in the missing letters. This activity enhanced their spelling accuracy, observation skills, and confidence in using English words correctly.

The students appreciated the interactive nature of the session and expressed enjoyment while participating in the activities. Overall, the session was informative, engaging, and beneficial for improving both Hindi reading and basic English vocabulary skills.

The session was conducted by MBA Students- Ms. Supriya Ghare, Ms. Rohini Kadam, Ms. Yashasvi Ghagas, Mr. Soham Patil and Mr. Vedant Janvalekar.
