The Faculty Development Program titled “Business Management Simulation – AIMA Biz Lab Edge Training” was conducted on 4th and 5th July 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at the PIMSR Business Lab. A total of 23 faculty members from PIMSR participated in this two-day training program facilitated by Dr. Richa Agarwal.
The program aimed to familiarize the faculty with the AIMA Biz Lab Simulation and enhance their business decision-making skills through experiential learning. Dr. Richa Agarwal delivered the sessions effectively, explaining all aspects and nuances of the simulation in a clear and engaging manner. Her patient responses to queries and ability to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application made the training highly impactful.
A key takeaway of the program was the sharpening of business acumen and understanding the interrelation and alignment of various functional areas in the corporate world. The faculty members were divided into two markets on a stimulator, each consisting of four teams, and were tasked with running the simulator over four quarters of business operations, played across the two days.
The hands-on experience of managing simulated markets and making strategic decisions in real-time enriched the participants’ knowledge and empowered them to operate the simulation confidently. The entire training was interactive, insightful, and well-received by the participants.
The program concluded on a positive note, with participants appreciating the opportunity to engage in this practical learning exercise that bridges academic concepts with real-world business dynamics.
