As part of Project PANKH, volunteers from the Social Service Committee of PIMSR conducted an educational session at Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi on 25th February, 2025. The session aimed to enhance English reading skills, basic grammar and foundational Mathematics for the students.
For Class 6, the focus was on reinforcing the use of appropriate verbs in sentence construction. In addition, students practiced reading to improve their pronunciation and public speaking skills.
Class 7 students participated in a session on Mathematics, where they learned how to solve problems related to Tally Marks and Frequency. They were also introduced to antonyms, which helped broaden their English vocabulary. The activities were designed to encourage active participation, reinforcing both English language and basic Mathematical concepts.
The session yielded positive results, with students showing significant improvement in their grasp of English and Mathematics, along with enthusiastic participation in the exercises.
The session was led by MMS students: Miss Nisary Prasannan, Miss Siddhi Vijay, Mr. Kunal Karade, and Miss Sampada Pakhide.
