The students of PiMSR enthusiastically joined the Pillai campus in organising a collection drive to help the people recover from the disastrous impact of the floods that ravaged the areas in Western Maharashtra in August 2019. The collection drive was organized from 13th to 17th August, 2019. Faculty and students voluntarily took the initiative to collect items such as foodgrains, pulses, clothes among many other utility items. These were later distributed by 27 faculty and students who personally visited the flood affected areas and distributed the items to the needy and reached out to them. Over 500 families were benefited by this initiative.
