SNEHA – Personal Development and Pre-Vocational Skills Training for Underprivileged Girl Students pursuing the Nurse Aide Programme

Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research in association with SI BOMBAY CHEMBUR conducted Personal development workshops and pre-vocational skills training for underprivileged girl students enrolled in the Nurse Aide Programme at Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action (SNEHA). This initiative aims to train nurse-aids with a set of skills which will help them in developing their personality and attitude. The program touched upon topics like Grooming and Etiquette, Time, Anger and Stress Management, Body Language, Communication, How to prepare for an Interview and Spoken English. It was conducted over a three month period spanning September to November, 2018 at the SNEHA center at Santacruz. More than 40 participants benefited from this initiative.
