Topic – Top 10 Essential Soft Skills
Ms. Gursharan Kaur Nanda Training and Placement Manager at PIMSR conducted a Session on “Top 10 Essential Soft Skills” on 6th September, 2023 for the newly joined management students of PiMSR. With over six years of work experience in training, placement and corporate relations, Ms. Nanda is a passionate and proactive professional who strives to empower students and professionals to achieve their career goals. As the Marketing Head at Pillai Institute of Languages, she manages the branding, promotion and outreach programs for the institute. During her session she explained the various communication skills one must master to land at their dream job. She gave a brief idea about interpersonal skills, leadership skills, teamwork, problem solving skills, professionalism, time management among others that students need to practice and develop while pursuing their management course. She provided an in-depth knowledge about the attributes and skill sets required by the corporate sector when they come to the campus for hiring. The session concluded with tips and tricks to practice daily for achieving success in their careers. The session was attended by 168 students and ended with a vote of thanks.
