Session on “Interactive English Learning”

As part of Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee Team of Pillai University, School of Business, Visited Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, to support students in developing their English language skills in a friendly and encouraging environment.

The session began with an informal interaction to establish rapport between the volunteers and students, followed by activities focused on reading, speaking, and expressing thoughts in English. The key activity involved providing students with three random words and encouraging them to construct meaningful sentences using those words. This exercise aimed to strengthen their vocabulary, sentence formation, and creative thinking while encouraging them to apply their language skills in practice.

Overall, the Project PANKH visit was a meaningful educational outreach initiative that brought student volunteers and schoolchildren together through a shared learning experience.

The session provided schoolchildren with an opportunity to expand their vocabulary, practise sentence construction, and develop greater confidence in expressing their ideas in English. It also reinforced the value of community engagement in creating learning opportunities that contribute to children’s educational development.
