The Corporate Relation Committee of PiMSR organised a session by Mr. Arya Patnaik, Co founder at Intermind and Partner at SYMA – Emerging Tech and an expert in Web & Mobile Apps, UI & UX and Digital Marketing among others on 22nd November, 2022 for the students pursuing MMS. Mr. Patnaik spoke on the topic “Emerging Technologies and its application in future management education”.
In his talk he touched upon the following points:
- ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE is slowly and steadily the AI is taking over different sectors in corporate world especially in the Marketing and HR field impacting job losses at the lower levels of employment
- CLOUD STORAGE are servers that hold huge data has helped businesses with huge transactions like the Flipcart Big Billion days and on other offer periods.
- DIGITAL MONEY has removed the barriers to transfer of physical currency. Money can be transferred freely to any part of world.
- AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY: The Sydney University used robotic technology to do the agriculture related work. These robots do the basic agricultural work like sowing seeds, checking status of plants and fruits. Due to this technology the agricultural sector will grow rapidly.
178 students attended this enriching and knowledgeable session. It was an interactive session with the students asked many questions about the future of technology.
