Professor Celina Joy was invited to be one of judges (among a panel of three) for the finals of the MUNIJAN Competition (Mumbai University New Initiative for Joint Action Now) held on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, 2015 at the Convocation Hall, University of Mumbai, Fort Campus. Twelve teams from all over Maharashtra participated in the final round. The theme of the competition was “Sensitizing Sanitation” which witnessed a participation from many colleges in Maharashtra. The competition required the students to give one social service project which should be sustainable, CREATE A BIG IMPACT, bring MEASURABLE change, and be feasible to implement by all the colleges of Management under the Mumbai University network. The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai. The team of girls from Prin. L. N. Wellingkar College of Management Development and Research was adjudged as the winners of the competition.
