Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR) celebrated the inauguration of its Master of Management Studies (MMS) batch for 2024-2026 with a ceremony on Friday, September 13th, 2024. The event, held in the campus auditorium, began at 10:00 am and saw active participation from students and faculty members. The ceremony commenced with Priyanka Chopra’s inspirational speech on “Breaking the Glass Ceiling,” followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp and the Saraswati Vandana.
Dr. R. Chandran, Director of PIMSR, delivered the opening address, setting a positive tone for the academic year.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Anirban Mukherjee, Talent Acquisition Specialist at LTIMindtree, provided valuable insights on “Bridging the Gap between Campus and Corporate.” The Chief Guest, Mr. Abhishek Patolawala, an esteemed alumnus of PIMSR, shared his expertise on “Starting a Career in the FMCG Sector.” This was followed by an engaging session with the guest speaker, Ms. Anju Saini, a corporate trainer, who highlighted 10 essential etiquette tips and shared her daily practices for personal and professional self-improvement.
The event also featured student presentations on “Life @ PIMSR” and concluded with a vote of thanks by senior students.
The program ended with campus tours and lunch, allowing the new batch to connect and explore their academic environment.
