Ideathon 360 2.0: Turning Ideas into Entrepreneurial Possibilities

The School of Business (PG), Institutions Innovation Council (IIC), Pillai University, Navi Mumbai, organized Ideathon 360 2.0 on 8th October 2026 at the University Auditorium. The event was conducted with the theme “Innovate, Ideate, Implement”, with the objective of encouraging students to think creatively, develop innovative ideas and take their first steps towards entrepreneurship.

The session was conducted in the presence of Mr. Chirag Thakker, who interacted with students and encouraged them to transform their ideas into practical and meaningful startup opportunities. The event provided an interactive platform where students could present and discuss their entrepreneurial ideas and receive guidance directly from the guest speaker.

One of the key highlights of the event was the one-to-one interaction between Mr. Chirag Thakker and students. Students who had ideas for starting a business or developing a startup were given an opportunity to discuss their ideas, challenges and possibilities. These individual interactions helped students understand that having an idea is only the beginning of the entrepreneurial journey. An idea needs proper planning, execution, continuous improvement and the willingness to learn from failures.

Mr. Thakker also emphasized the importance of starting from “0 to 1.” Students were motivated to take their first practical step instead of waiting for everything to become perfect. The session highlighted that entrepreneurship is a journey that requires patience, consistency, innovation and the ability to convert challenges into opportunities.

An important takeaway from the event was the assurance of continuous mentorship for the students over the coming three months. The mentorship will focus on helping students develop their ideas step-by-step, understand their business potential, overcome challenges and move closer to implementing their concepts.

The event also encouraged students to look at entrepreneurship beyond simply starting a business. It highlighted the importance of identifying real-world problems and creating solutions that can provide value to customers and society.

Overall, Ideathon 360 2.0 was an enriching and motivating experience for aspiring student entrepreneurs. The event provided students with an opportunity to interact with an experienced mentor, receive individual feedback and gain confidence in their entrepreneurial ideas. The three-month mentorship initiative is expected to further support students in transforming their initial ideas into more structured and actionable startup concepts.

The event successfully created an environment of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship, encouraging students to move from ideation to implementation and from 0 to 1.
