Guest Session on “Campus to Corporate (C2C)”

The Corporate Relation Committee of PiMSR organised a guest session on 21st November, 2022 for MMS students on the topic Campus to Corporate (C2C). The objective of the session was to help students bridge the gap between college life and the corporate world. The guest for the session was Mr. Balasubramanian Sethuraman, General Manager and Head Human Resources at Parekh Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd. He is a dynamic and competent senior management team member with extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, Employee (Engagement / Relations / Welfare), Strategic HR, Contract Negotiation, Organisation Design & Development, Coaching & Training, General Administration, Talent Management, Business Excellence. Mr. Sethuraman began his session with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. After which he spoke in details about the basic etiquettes to be followed in the corporate sector. He also explained the importance of grooming, body language, gestures and appropriate behaviour in the corporate sector. He emphasised that it’s important to learn while you earn. He ended the session by discussing the promising career opportunities in the field of HR. The students had an interesting round of questions which Mr. Sethuraman patiently answered. 17 students attend this informative session.
