At the outset there was overview of NSE Cogencis and its services. This FDP covered diverse topics on finance and economics. There was discussion on methods of company valuation such as discounted cash flow, excel formula to calculate valuation and relative valuation model was explained with data in excel. There was discussion about fundamental and technical analysis. Economic performance with displayed with several macroeconomic indicators such as GDP growth rate, money supply, inflation, IIP, FDI, unemployment rate etc. Discussion about capital market and money market instruments were quite informative and enlightening. Sector specific stock performance, comparative analysis among stocks, ratio analysis, financial statement analysis was deliberated with statistical data. Money market instrument and debt securities were also elaborated with respective tabular data and graphical presentation. FDP was concluded with Vote of Thanks by Prof. Subhendu Bhattacharya and felicitation to NSE Cogencis Training Coordinator and Senior Manager Ms. Ritu Parikh.
