PiMSR believes in fundamental challenge to create a just society where everyone is afforded the equal opportunity to develop and grow. With this end in mind, PiMSR social service arm is dedicated to making growth more holistic.

Our students, under the guidance of our social committee staff members have been collaborating with Ashalaya-Rays of Hope an orphanage, in Kharghar every year to learn more about the NGOs domain of work and their engagement with child upliftment.
Going beyond the curriculum, PiMSR students organized a “Newspaper Drive” in the month of November 2016 and the proceeds of the drive were utilized to donate 30 kgs of rice to the orphanage.
In continuation of the warmth and support towards ‘Ashalaya-Ray’ of Hope Ministries, the institute celebrated Community Service Day with them. The institute engaged the children of the organization in drawing and other fun games. The time spent with the NGO inmates sensitized the students towards the existing social problems and inequalities. It was an unprecedented learning experience for all the student volunteers who interacted with the NGO.
