Continuing its commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences and nurturing the academic and personal development of school children, the Social Service Committee Team of PIMSR conducted a Session on Basic English and Mathematics on 25th August 2026 for the students of Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School, Podi, as part of Project PANKH.
Recognizing the importance of communication and academic skills, the session provided the students with a supportive, interactive, and engaging learning environment to learn and practise essential concepts. The session began with an activity on English opposite words, aimed at improving the students’ vocabulary, understanding, and memory. The interactive approach encouraged students to participate actively and learn through practice.
The session also included Mathematics activities on multiplication and division. The concepts were explained through simple examples and interactive exercises, enabling the students to understand the concepts more clearly and practise them with greater confidence.
The session provided the school students with an opportunity to strengthen their English vocabulary, improve memory and recall, and develop a better understanding of multiplication and division. The activities also encouraged active participation, confidence, and interest in learning, making the learning experience enjoyable and meaningful.
The session was conducted by the MBA student volunteers Ms. Rohini Kadam, Ms. Sandhyarani Sabat, and Mr. Prasad Mhatre.
