Session on “English and Vocabulary”

Through Project PANKH, the Social Service Committee Team of PIMSR conducted an Engaging Learning Session for the students of Standard 4 on 18th August 2026. The Session focused on English reading and vocabulary, along with multiplication, logical thinking, creativity, and self-expression, using interactive and activity-based learning methods.

The Session began with an introduction to new English words and vocabulary, followed by games and activities designed to make learning enjoyable and encourage active participation. Quizzes and brain games were also conducted to develop logical thinking, concentration, confidence, and healthy competition among the students.

A creative Paper Plane Activity was conducted, wherein the students made paper planes, wrote their names on them, and mentioned what they aspire to become in the future. The activity encouraged the children to express their dreams and aspirations while nurturing their creativity and imagination.

The students also performed a dance they had prepared, making the session more enjoyable and providing them with an opportunity to showcase their confidence, creativity, and talent.

The session was conducted by the MBA student volunteers Ms. Vrushika Vishal Shelar, Ms. Charmi Chandra, and Mr. Ishwar Bade.

The session helped the Podi School children strengthen their English vocabulary and reading skills, while the quizzes and games encouraged logical thinking and active participation. The paper-plane activity enabled them to express their dreams and future aspirations, while the dance performance helped build confidence and self-expression. Overall, the session reinforced the idea that learning can be joyful, creative, participative, and inspiring.

The restart of Project PANKH marks another meaningful step in its fourth year of flight, reaffirming the Social Service Committee’s continued commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences and contributing to the holistic development, confidence, and aspirations of the children at Podi School.
