Her areas of expertise include mental health counseling, crisis counseling, grief and trauma counseling, and adolescent and marriage counseling. She has previously worked with individuals living with mental health conditions and is currently associated with Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions, where she works closely with students experiencing behavioral, emotional, psychological, and academic difficulties.

Dr. Lee has also served as the Past President of Soroptimist International Bombay Chembur. She is a member of the Board of the National Association of Soroptimists in India (NASI) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Forum of Women in Commerce and Industry.

The session provided students with valuable insights into understanding and differentiating between various feelings and emotions, along with practical ways to manage stress arising from emotional challenges. Dr. Lee introduced students to important facts about counseling and helped them recognize signs indicating when professional support may be required. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining a calm and balanced approach while dealing with mental health challenges, thereby developing the resilience and willpower required to navigate difficult situations in life.

The session concluded with engaging exercises designed to help students identify, understand, and nurture their individual coping mechanisms and strategies. These activities emphasized the importance of prioritizing self-care and emotional well-being while avoiding unhealthy responses driven by stress, tension, or panic.

The students were also provided with Dr. Lee’s contact details should they feel the need for professional counseling or further guidance. Overall, the session served as a meaningful platform for encouraging mental health awareness, emotional resilience, self-care, and well-being among the newly admitted MBA cohorts.
