As part of the Orientation/Induction Programme 2026, Pillai School of Management – PG organized “India – A Mosaic of Diversity, Breakthrough and Management Excellence” on 27th July 2026. The event was conceptualized to promote teamwork, creativity, leadership, and an appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage among the newly admitted MBA students. Students were divided into four major regional groups—North, South, East, and West—to represent the diverse traditions and cultural richness of the country.

The programme commenced with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony in the gracious presence of the esteemed guest, Dr. Ketan Vira, whose inspiring address encouraged students to embrace diversity, innovation, and leadership.

The highlight of the event was the vibrant cultural presentations by the four regional teams. Every team showcased exceptional talent, creativity, and innovation in its own unique way. Through captivating performances, they beautifully portrayed the traditions, heritage, art, music, dance, cuisine, and vibrant culture of their respective regions, making the event a true celebration of “Unity in Diversity.”

Following an engaging quiz and audience interaction, Team East emerged as the Champions for their outstanding creativity, flawless execution, and remarkable cultural representation. While Team East secured the top position, every participating team contributed immensely to the success of the event through its dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm.

Adding a unique Gen Z touch to the event, students from each region were also honoured with special titles such as Best Sync Squad, Drip Check Award, Main Character Energy, Scene Stealer, Aura Award, Iconic Moment Award, Hype Squad Award, and Culture Flex Award, recognizing excellence in coordination, creativity, stage presence, team spirit, and cultural representation.

The event was successfully coordinated by Prof. Mangesh Malusare, Prof. Priyanka Chatta, Prof. Akshaya Kolhe, and Prof. Prachi, whose meticulous planning, guidance, and continuous support ensured its grand success. A special note of appreciation goes to the dedicated student volunteers of the Student Activity Committee (SAC), whose enthusiasm, commitment, and seamless coordination played a vital role in the smooth execution of the programme.

The event concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, Vote of Thanks, and the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired and proud of India’s cultural diversity. India – A Mosaic of Diversity, Breakthrough and Management Excellence was more than just a cultural event—it was a memorable learning experience that celebrated unity, talent, innovation, leadership, and the spirit of “Many Cultures.
