MIC – PIMSR IIC Participates in Orientation Session on IIC 8.0 Calendar Activity 2025–26 Conducted by AICTE
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR) actively participated in the Orientation Session on IIC 8.0 Calendar Activity 2025–26 conducted by the Hon’ble Chairman of AICTE on 22nd October, 2025. and was attended by faculty members, IIC coordinators, and student representatives of PIMSR. The objective of the session was to familiarize institutions with the updated IIC 8.0 activity calendar, evaluation processes, and the new initiatives introduced to promote innovation, start-up culture, and entrepreneurship across higher education institutions. The Hon’ble Chairman, AICTE, emphasized the importance of fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students, encouraging them to convert innovative ideas into scalable ventures. The session also provided clarity on institutional roles, participation guidelines, and the strategic framework designed to strengthen India’s innovation and start-up ecosystem. It served as a valuable orientation for all IIC members to understand the annual plan and align their institutional activities accordingly. The event inspired the PIMSR IIC team to further enhance its innovation-driven initiatives and integrate experiential learning into academic programs.
