The Training and Placement Cell of Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR), Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus, New Panvel, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Cells of Pillai College of Engineering (PCE) and Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science (PCACS), successfully organized Job Fair 2026 on 17th January 2026.
The job fair was organized exclusively for students of the Pillai institutions with the objective of providing multiple employment opportunities at a single location. The event aimed to facilitate direct interaction between students and potential employers, thereby strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing student employability.
More than 50 company representatives and HR professionals participated in the job fair, offering a wide range of opportunities across management, engineering, commerce, IT, finance, marketing, operations, and other allied domains. The diversity of participating organizations ensured exposure to both technical and non-technical roles suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 770 student candidates from Pillai’s Panvel and Rasayani campuses, reflecting strong interest among students in exploring career opportunities and engaging with corporate recruiters.
The job fair also enabled meaningful interactions between institutional representatives and employers. Recruiters shared valuable insights on industry expectations, required skill sets, and emerging career trends, providing constructive feedback to help align academic preparation with evolving industry needs.
