The Department of Finance organized an intensive training program titled “An Orientation on Tickr Software” cum Hands-on Practical Training Session conducted by Mr. Shubhankar Patil, an accomplished Stock Market Trainer with extensive expertise in financial markets and data analytics.
The program commenced on 29th January, 2026 (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) at Pillai’s Big Auditorium (7th Floor). The orientation session introduced students to the salient features of Tickr Software, a powerful data analytics and market intelligence platform. The session emphasized its interdisciplinary approach, highlighting its relevance not only to Finance but also to Marketing, Operations, and HR for data-driven decision-making.
Hands-on practical training sessions were conducted on 30th January and 2nd February, 2026, in the Computer Lab (2nd Floor) for MBA Semester II (Divisions A, B, C & D) in morning and afternoon slots. Students worked on live datasets, performed company analysis, interpreted financial ratios, studied price movements, and understood sectoral comparisons.
On 16th February, 2026, a dedicated hands-on practical training session was organized for the PGDM Semester II Batch. Students explored advanced analytical tools within Tickr and engaged in discussions on investment strategies, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
The sessions were highly interactive and application-oriented. The initiative significantly enhanced analytical competencies, market understanding, and technological proficiency among participants.
