The Research and Development Committee of Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research successfully conducted the Summer Internship Project (SIP) Contest 2025 on 17th October 2025. The event showcased the hard work, research skills, and innovative thinking of students from both MMS and PGDM programs, representing various specializations including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Operations.
The contest featured two expert panels for evaluation.
Dr. Monali Ray served as the judge for the Finance and Operations panel.
Dr. Kavita Kothare evaluated projects under the HR and Marketing panel.
Both panels provided valuable insights and feedback, making the session highly enriching for all participants.
Students presented their internship findings with great creativity and analytical depth. Their presentations incorporated a variety of strategic and research tools such as Fibonacci Analysis, Back testing, SWOT Analysis, PESTEL Framework, Porter’s Five Forces, Employee Retention Strategies, Employee Motivation Techniques, and several other quantitative and qualitative methods. Each presentation reflected a unique perspective and strong conceptual understanding.
A special note of appreciation goes to Dr. Shikha Singh, Dr. Vivekanand Pawar, and Dr. Celina Joy for their dedicated efforts in organizing and managing the event seamlessly. Their guidance and support ensured that the contest ran smoothly and provided a valuable learning platform for all students.
The SIP Contest 2025 not only celebrated academic excellence but also encouraged students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world business applications, making it a truly insightful and memorable experience for everyone involved.
