As part of the FDP initiative, a session titled “An Orientation on Tickr Software” was held on 14th July 2025 in the Computer Lab, 2nd Floor.

Mr. Shubhankar Patil, an expert in Stock Market Software Training, conducted the session. He introduced Tickr—a sophisticated Indian stock market research platform, often seen as the local counterpart to Bloomberg. The software allows users to track live equity markets, analyze financial statements, and explore macro/micro trends, making it highly useful for both academic and professional purposes.

Faculty members received a live demo and hands-on exposure to key features of Tickr, including real-time data tracking, historical price charts, peer comparisons, and sectoral dashboards.

The session fostered insightful discussions on integrating such tools into finance curriculum and research projects to enhance student learning and data-driven analysis.

This engaging and future-ready session set the tone for a technology-oriented FDP journey ahead. It left participants motivated to embrace tools like Tickr in classrooms and research labs, reflecting a positive step toward digital empowerment in finance education.
