Two Days Workshop on “Financial Education for Young Generation”

Day 1: March 13th, 2024

Additionally, the significance of mutual funds in investment portfolios was emphasized, with CA. Vekaria supplementing theoretical discourse with practical examples from his extensive experience. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, enriching attendees with foundational knowledge in financial literacy.

Day 2: March 14th, 2024

The second day commenced with the distribution of notebooks to facilitate note-taking and active participation. Participants delved deeper into practical aspects, learning the art of strategic decision-making in buying and selling shares. Engaging video presentations underscored the importance of prudent investment practices, while discussions on Ponzi schemes raised awareness about financial scams and pitfalls. Intriguingly, an introduction to the Intraday game added an interactive dimension to the workshop, enabling participants to simulate market scenarios and apply acquired knowledge in real-time. Notably, the session concluded with a stimulating activity wherein participants engaged in a mock trading exercise, with the highest profit earner receiving recognition and a symbolic award, highlighting the consequences of falling prey to fraudulent schemes. Participants lauded the workshop for its enriching experience and valuable insights.
