The Corporate Relations Committee of PiMSR organised a talk by Ms. Shelja Jose Kuruvilla, Head of Research – Vector Consulting Group on 18th November, 2022 on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the MMS Batch 2024. Vector is a Management Consulting firm that helps companies build unique supply chain, operations and customer management capabilities – critical factors to gain competitive advantage. The theme of the talk was “New Beginnings – The Way Forward for Management Graduates”. Ms. Shelja began her session by sharing her journey in the corporate sector. She spoke about her work as the Head of Research and the various opportunities that come her way in the world of business consulting. She encouraged students to have the curiosity to ask questions and keep learning new things. She emphasised the importance of hard work and a positive mindset to excel in their studies and do well in their careers. She spoke to students about the importance of being able to focus. Ms. Shelja informed students that there will be multiple distractions in life but success follows individuals who are able to focus and pursue their goals amidst the chaos around. 181 students and 14 faculty members attended the session. It was an interactive session and ended with a QnA round.

The Alumni Outreach Committee of PiMSR organised a talk by Mr. Karthikeyan V., Co-Founder and CEO G-ART on 18th November, 2022 on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the MMS Batch 2024. He is also an alumnus of PGDM – International Business Batch 2004-06. The theme of the talk was “New Beginnings – The Way Forward for Management Graduates”.

Mr. Karthikeyan began his session by sharing his journey starting with joining the PDGM programme way back in 2004. He spoke about how the program had shaped his thoughts and built the self-confidence to face the business world. He spoke about the excellent infrastructure that the institute offers and the excellent teaching faculty who guide and mentor students. He encouraged students to make the very best out of the two years they will be spending doing the MMS programme and wished all of them the very best in their careers. 181 students and 14 faculty members attended the session. It was an interactive session and ended with a QnA round.
