PIMSR’s Research and Development Committee organized a Research Workshop on the topic “Industry Analysis Frameworks in Management Research” on Thursday, 13th April, 2023 for the management students. The purpose of the workshop was to teach the students about the importance of identifying and analyzing the environmental factors that have an effect on conduct of any business. The Industry Analysis frameworks that were covered as a part of this seminar were PESTEL analysis and Porter’s Five Forces model. Knowledge of these frameworks will help them to write the project report by first understanding the external environment that is an integral part of business. The session was conducted by Prof. Krushna R. Sawant and Prof. Balashankar Ramadas. The session was attended by 190 students and faculty members.
