The students of the MMS Social Service Committee conducted a Session on 26th October, 2023 on the the topic “Building Vocabulary Skills” as a part of the ongoing project “PANKH” at the Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi. This session was a part of the fundamental Elementary English Language Skills for the 5th, 6th and 7th grade students of the school. The session covered experiential learning activities that included Reading practice aimed at improving reading skills. The students were engaged in reading poems and receiving guidance on vocabulary. This activity helped expand the children’s vocabulary by associating words with objects. Finding the missing word this activity involved deductive reasoning, promoting cognitive development and memory enhancement. This activity boosted memory recall as children remembered and applied previously learned words. Interactive games like this made learning enjoyable and keep students motivated. The session was conducted by MMS students Ms. Tejal Arban, Mr. Yash Pawar, Ms. Amrutha Nair, Mr. Prajwal Sune and Akash Isaac.
