The MMS 1st year students resumed their sessions on 15th February, 2024 with Zilla Parishad Gyan Jyoti Savitribai Phule School in Podi as a part of Project “PANKH” 2023-24. The session started by going over things the students had learned before, like the words ‘a,’ ‘an,’ and ‘the.’ Then they practiced reading and had a test where they had to write down what they heard. The kids were really excited and did a great job with the basic English skills they have been learning. The session ended by playing a fun educational game and reciting poetry together as a class. The session helped the first-year students from the PIMSR’s Social Service Committee to connect with the kids on a personal level. They learned about the kids’ interests and customized games and activities accordingly. The session was conducted by MMS first year students – Mr. Gaurav Jadhav, Mr. Prajwal Sune, Mr. Prathamesh Patil, Ms. Gopika Menon.
