Understanding the importance of the Objective Based Education System, Pillai’s Institute of Management Studies and Research, Panvel organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Outcome Based Education” (OBE) on 3rd August, 2022. The purpose of this FDP was to equipped the management faculty members with the growing need of aligning the “Programme Objective / Outcomes” (PO) and “Course Outcomes / Objective” (CO) in order to evaluate whether the objective of each course taught in a particular programme are in line that of the programme objective. The resource person for the session was Prof. Dhaval Bhatt, Assistant Professor, PIMSR, Panvel.
The session focused on various aspects of the Objective Based Education (OBE) including the blooms taxonomy, PO – CO Alignment, Calculating PO–CO Attainment Level, Criteria of Attainment Levels, etc. The FDP was attended by 18 Faculty Members.
